Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is expanding its portfolio in Europe to a new destination, adding two post-cruise extensions in Greece, available to book now for travel this summer and fall. Uniworld guests can select a three-night extension to Athens or a five-night extension to Athens and Santorini, available as add-ons to Uniworld’s Italian itineraries: “Milan, Venice & The Jewels of Veneto,” “Venice & The Jewels of Veneto” and “Cruise & Rail: Venice & The Swiss Alps.” The new Greece offerings join Uniworld’s existing portfolio of pre- and post-cruise extensions, including land, rail and customizable options.
Why the new offerings? “Greece has consistently been one of the top searched destinations on our website and although we don’t currently sail in-destination, we want to give our guests the travel experiences they are looking for at the same quality they’d expect from Uniworld,” said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.

Athens Three-Night Post-Cruise Extension
This four-day stay in Athens offers a brief taste of Greece’s famous capital city. The itinerary includes a stay in the five-star Divani Caravel hotel and such immersive experiences as dinner with a local in their home, a trip up to the Parthenon and a foodie tour of popular Greek treats. Daily breakfasts, service charges, five-star hotel stays, flights from Venice to Athens, various walking tours and more are all included in the stay. This extension is available on 10 Uniworld departures in 2023 beginning in June.
Athens & Santorini Five-Night Post-Cruise Extension
With an itinerary that splits the stay between Athens and Santorini, guests will experience history, culture, excellent cuisine and sights. Activities include sampling the local fare, a Santorini village tour and wine tasting, a cruise around Santorini’s caldera and an Athens City Tour. Daily breakfasts along with two other meals, service charges, five-star hotel stays, flights from Venice to Athens and Athens to Santorini, various guides/tours and more are all included in the stay. This extension is available on nine Uniworld departures in 2023 beginning in June.
