The head of the OSCE local election observer mission in Albania, Audrey Glover, met with former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
The meeting started at 13:00, at the headquarters of the Democratic Party, while today he also met with the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.
Glover informed that international institutions are focused on the May 14 local elections.
Audrey Glover can be described without hesitation as a veteran of the electoral processes in Albania. He first led the observer mission in the 1996 election, but also in the 2009 election and then in 2015, 2019 and now in the May 14 race.
After meeting with Glover, Berisha said he expressed his concerns and concerns about a normal election process.
He also emphasized that he told the head of the OSCE mission about the “shameful failure of Rama’s efforts to leave the country without an opposition.”
