An Immersive Greek-themed Restaurant Inspired by Mamma Mia Has Opened in the Midlands

Hush, an immersive Greek-themed restaurant, has opened along with the Shire Residence boutique hotel

A new boutique hotel and an immersive Greek-themed restaurant inspired by the movie and music Mamma Mia! has opened in the Midlands. The new restaurant is opening in Shrewsbury, Shropshire – just over an hour from Birmingham city centre.

The old Severn Social site in Frankwell has been given a new lease of life after being purchased by the Shire Collection, one of the largest independent venues and restaurant owners in Shropshire.

They have now opened a Shire Residence boutique hotel, as well as Hush, an immersive Greek-themed restaurant inspired by Mamma Mia!

Bosses say Hush will be a must-visit for fans of the movie Mamma Mia! The restaurant will offer a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with a menu inspired by the flavours and ingredients of Greek cuisine, curated by executive chef Chris Burt.

Guests will be transported to an idyllic Greek island, as they enjoy delicious food and sing along in a unique culinary adventure. On Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, there is a A’La carte menu, while on Saturdays they host Hush – The Party!

While, the new Shire Residence boutique hotel will provide a luxurious accommodation option in the heart of Shrewsbury. Featuring individually styled rooms and suites, each offering a blend of contemporary and traditional design elements inspired by the town.

Michael Halford, director of The Shire Collection, said: “We are thrilled to be opening Shire Residence Boutique Hotel and Hush following development of the old Severn Social site in Shrewsbury. We are committed to providing exceptional service and hospitality, and we believe that both the hotel and the restaurant will achieve this.”
