Villages Couple Explore Greece’s Rich History

Mary Bahry may have been to Greece before, but her recent trip was just as exciting. Bahry and Dave Reconnu, of the Village Santo Domingo, spent two weeks in the country, traveling between cities to explore famous historical monuments, try new foods and appreciate the scenery.

It gave them time to immerse themselves in the culture and bond with other travelers while on the tour. “We didn’t know what to expect at first,” Bahry said. “It was a small cruise ship, but the food and hospitality were amazing.”

Bahry was eager to travel to Greece again as it meant she would get to see new sights and make more fond memories in the country. Her first trip 10 years ago was a tour on water, but she decided to try something new and take some land tours with Reconnu. The trip, which was organized by the travel agency Globus, took the couple and other travelers through Greece, spending nine days on land and five days on water.
