Greek FM Meets With Counterpart in Muscat Ahead of Visit to Abu Dhabi on Tuesday


Foreign Affairs Minister George Gerapetritis met with his counterpart of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, on the sidelines of the EU-Gulf Cooperation Council Ministerial Meeting in Muscat on Monday, ANA reports.

Gerapetritis congratulated him on organizing the EU-GCC meeting, and he stressed that Oman is a pillar of stability in the region and can be a bridge for GCC countries to Europe, the Greek ministry posted on X.

Agenda items at the summit included boosting cooperation in economy, tourism, infrastructure, energy diversification, RES, ‘smart islands’, culture, and synergies promoting connectivity in the Indian Ocean and the Middle East, added the Greek foreign ministry.
