The New Consul General of Greece in Constantinople at Halki Seminary

The new Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Konstantinos Koutras, accompanied by his associates, paid an official visit today, Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Theological School of Halki.

The Consul General, during his first visit to the Theological School of Halki since taking office, was welcomed by the Abbot, Bishop Cassianos of Aravissos, who welcomed him to the historic spiritual institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, referring to his long history and invaluable contribution to the Church and the Nation. In response, Mr. Koutras expressed his admiration for the history and intellectual wealth of the School, while he showed particular interest in the issues that concern it.

Subsequently, the new Consul General was guided to the chapel, the classrooms, the historic Library, and the other areas of the School, and attended the luncheon served in his honor.
