Greek airline Aegean rejoins roster at Rīga Airport

During this summer flight season, the Greek carrier Aegean Airlines will resume operations at Rīga airport with a twice-weekly flight on the Riga-Athens route, the aiport said March 3.

The airline will start flights between the capitals of Latvia and Greece on May 19 and will operate the connection on Tuesdays and Fridays. Aegean Airlines will become the 15th airline that will provide passenger transportation from Riga this summer.

The airline operated regular flights to Riga in 2016 and previously offered charter flights on this route, but due to passenger demand, a decision was made in favor of regular passenger flights.
