Arria: World is Not Informed About What is Happening in Bosnia

Former President of the Security Council of the United Nations and “Honorary Citizen of the City of Sarajevo” Diego Arria visited Bosnia and Herzegovina again.

The occasion is the publication of his book “Slow Genocide in Bosnia” in the Bosnian language by the publishing house of the Council of the Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals, and today he gave a speech to the media on the topic of geopolitical situations with an emphasis on the Western Balkans.

His thesis is that if the world is not informed about what is happening here, then all those who died died in vain – that is why he publicly points out the negative aspects of the contemporary political context.

”The Dayton Agreement stops Bosnia and Herzegovina from becoming a real independent state. I think it is a moral obligation of the nations of this country to draw attention of the international community on the setbacks because of which BiH cannot prosper in political, economic or social way,” Arria concluded.
